Vintage summer essentials

The ordinary Danish summer is not as long as we might think. Perhaps you quickly end up with a little too much summer clothing , which is still not quite right on the warm, beautiful summer days.

We have collected a small list of summer "essentials" which we think cover all areas of the perfect summer wardrobe . The clothes you can conveniently pack away completely when autumn knocks, and which you, in turn, look forward to taking out again. It is clothing that signals summer and sunshine and is timeless in its expression, so it can be used year after year.

Many feel that the white thing is a bit difficult, and isn't it a bit wedding-like? But on a hot summer day, it's just the right thing. It feels cooling and cool, and it is also perfect with the white dresses against a light summer glow

There are many different shades, and you can go from white, to off-white and cream, or all the way to light beige and linen, and find the shade that suits you best.

You can style white with colored shoes , or wear a nice straw hat to get a romantic vintage look.

A straw hat may not exactly be an "essential", but if you can find one that suits you, it will be a beautiful addition to your summer wardrobe , and a fine alternative to sunglasses.

Speaking of sunglasses, you can appropriately go for cat-eye sunglasses which will emphasize your vintage outfit. We carry sunglasses in the store, but not on the webshop.
