At Mondo Kaos, we love vintage style denim. The good classic jeans which are really high-waisted, create a beautiful figure, and are adapted to the female body. Just such jeans are made by the British brand Lady K Loves.
Something the modern and retro wardrobe have 100% in common is jeans! Today, it is unthinkable to walk down the street and not come across someone wearing jeans - they have become a staple. They work with small family-owned businesses that use sustainable dyes and deliver the highest denim quality. In addition, they also work in the local community to ensure that they have a healthy staff and take care of the environment. The jeans fabric is imported to England, where men and women complete the jeans on up to 10 different machines.

Lady K Loves "Classic Jeans" – classic high-waisted vintage jeans
Lady K Love's classic. It has a high waist and slim legs, and usually fits true to size hip to waist, based on measurements from their customers from the Lady K Loves Facebook page. They close at the front and of course have the classic rivets at the pockets both at the front and at the back. They also have western sweetheart stitching at the back. A real classic as the name says.
Lady K Loves "Le Wild Jeans" – Bootcut vintage jeans
Le Wilde is a real 50s western denim. It has a high waist with slightly wide straight legs, it also closes in the best vintage fashion at the side. Le Wild is a classic boot cut, which means there is room for boots underneath, and is really the perfect vintage jeans. It has a bit of stretch for modern comfort.
Lady K Loves "Polly Jeans" – high-waisted vintage jeans for the petite woman.
The Polly model is designed for either the more petite woman who wants it to sit high-waisted, or the "normal" figure who wants a slightly lower waist. These jeans are more fitted and are ideal for tucking up at the bottom for the perfect pin-up 50's look.
How do I style my vintage jeans?
Our jeans are perfectly styled with e.g. our Mondo Kaos T-shirt for a cool 50s rockabilly look. You can also achieve this look by tying the shirt on the stomach, e.g. our shirts from Very Cherry are suitable for this.
Or if you're more into a classic vintage look, our Estelle "Pussy Bow" Shirts are perfect for creating this look.
Our off-shoulder blouses are ideal in the summer, and bring to mind the Hollywood glamor of the 1950s, they are also super comfortable and beautiful on a hot day.

Vintage clothes, retro clothes or repro clothes?
As most of our customers already know, our clothes are not "true vintage". This means that it is not secondhand clothing made in the middle of the last century, but reproduced (repro) clothing which is inspired, with great love for the details, by vintage clothing, prints and cut patterns. However, we have found that the vast majority of our customers do not know the term "repro", but use both retro and vintage to describe the clothes we sell, despite the fact that they are newly produced clothes. That's why we do exactly the same here at Mondo Kaos. All our clothes are always newly produced, not second-hand, and are primarily inspired by the wonderful, feminine fashion from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
