Granted. It is a bit loaded and subjective when we claim that we have Denmark's best selection of high-end dresses in the retro style, but even if the statement is subjective, it could easily be true anyway.
No matter what type you are, you should be able to find at least a dozen high end dresses that are just right for you! We have a really large selection, which contains great variety in terms of style, colour, prints and price.
We even have a good selection of plus size retro dresses. We have all our dresses in minimum xl, most in 2xl, but we also have many in 3xl, 4xl and even 5xl. This is because our dress models are suitable for virtually all sizes and shapes.

Why we label our dresses "Vintage" & "Retro"?
As you may have noticed, we use both the terms 'vintage' and 'retro' for our dresses, but is there really a difference between a vintage and a retro dress?
There actually is, but there is no clear definition, so we will try to give ours here.
Vintage refers to clothing produced in approximately the year 1920 and up to 1980 - this can be home-made or in small or large productions. As our dresses were not produced in this time period, we describe the dresses as "vintage inspired" as that is exactly what they are. They are inspired by the fashion of the 1940s , 1950s and 1960s .
The term Retro came into being in the 1960s and refers to something from "back in the day" - and since our dresses are precisely inspired by the fashion of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, we also describe them as Retro dresses.
Actually, there is the term "Repro", which is probably the term that best describes our dresses, as repro stands for "reproduced" - i.e. dresses that have been produced again.
However, we know that not many of our customers use the term Repro, but instead describe our dresses as "Retro dresses" or "Vintage dresses" and therefore we have chosen to do the same.

A retro dress can easily be combined with shoes with a modern look. In fact, something beautiful, exciting and interesting can actually arise in the dynamic between the stylish vintage style of the dress and a pair of brand new, modern shoes or stilettos.
