Sensommer nyheder 2019

Late summer news 2019

The blackberries are ripe, the nights are getting shorter and last week we started to feel it in the air: summer is ending and fall is just around the corner. At Mondo Kaos, this means that the first beautiful items from our Fall 2019 collection are starting to arrive and we can't wait to show you some of our new, gorgeous 1950s and 1960s inspired styles! In this blog post, we talk about

♥ new items from Very Cherry

♥ new items from Emily and Fin

♥ stockings and tights from What Katie Did

New items from Very Cherry

From Very Cherry we have just received a classic boatneck blouse and two different types of shirt dresses in several different colors and prints that are perfect for late summer and autumn's dark green, red and golden colors!

The boatneck blouse is the perfect blouse for your retro wardrobe! It's one of the most versatile blouses we have and depending on which bottoms you style it with, you can create different retro looks! With a pair of wide-legged sailor pants for a simple 1940s look, a swing skirt for an elegant 1950s look, and a mini skirt for a classic 1960s mod girl look!

The D'Laine Swing Skirt Shirt Dress is a lovely, classic 1950s dress with elbow-length sleeves, a shirt collar and a button-through front closure. For this season, we've got the dress in several different colors and a beautiful floral print.

The lapel shirt dress with A-line skirt is a simple 1950s dress with a lapel collar, short sleeves with a slight puff and a tie belt at the waist. It's a classic design that suits all body types and we have it in several different colors.

New items from Emily & Fin

We have just received three new beautiful 1960s styles from Emily and Fin: a retro jumper with swan print, a lovely A-line dress with swan print and a wonderful bottle green mini skirt in the softest velvet! velvet!

The jumper and its lovely countryside print draws clear references to the famous 'baa baa baa black sheep' jumper worn by Lady Diana, Princess of Wales, to a polo match in 1983! As on Lady Di's jumper that had one black sheep among whites, Emily and Fin's lovely jumper features a single red swan among whites! You can style the jumper for a cute retro look by wearing it under your pants or skirt, creating a great silhouette with a special focus on the waist and hips. The dress is in the same lovely swan print as the jumper and is made from 100% soft viscose!

The dress is knee-length and its waist-cutting cut and round neckline is very flattering and suits most body types.

The skirt is made from the softest velvet and has a classic 1960s design with a high waist and full button closure at the front. It measures 43 cm, which is the perfect length to show off your legs in fall tights and a pair of long boots - an absolutely classic 1960s look!

Retro Stockings and tights from What Katie Did

Even though the days are getting colder, you can still wear your retro dresses and skirts without freezing your legs. We have both stockings (for girdles) and tights with seams in several different colors from retro lingerie brand What Katie Did, and in the store you'll also find several different stockings and tights in plus size from Italian Pamela Mann!

Click through the webshop or pop into the store and get inspired for your retro fall 2019 look!
