The Lisa-Mae dress is stylish and elegant at the same time that it can be easily used for everyday life.
The eye-catching lapel collar stands out particularly sharply with the help of the underlying collar in off-white contrast. The collar draws attention and frames the neck and face in the most beautiful way. The finest pleats at the shoulders make room for the bust, and a light puff sleeve creates the classic vintage silhouette.
The off-white color from the lapel collar repeats itself at the buttonholes and ties the look together, while also giving the dress a slight maritime feel. The buttons down the front of the chest are square in true vintage style with a slight 'deco' touch.
This beautiful dress in 1940s style has a belt to highlight the waist. The 3/4 long sleeves make the dress perfect for the many cooler seasons of the year. Rayon crepe is a natural, lightweight and beautiful material, and we recommend that you care for the garment as they did with original 1940s clothing.
We suggest hand washing, just like they did back then. If you want to use the easier option of using a washing machine, it's very important to wash on a gentle cycle and place the garment in a laundry bag. However, we do not recommend washing in a machine as not all machines treat clothes equally well.
Avoid drying clothes in direct sunlight or in very hot places (e.g. over a radiator) as this can cause the material to expand and subsequently shrink.

In the unlikely event of an accident, you can try the following method to get the garment back to its original size and fit. This method is not guaranteed, but may help in some cases:
- Soak the garment in cold water with a very generous amount of fabric conditioner and leave it overnight.
- Then rinse the garment in fresh cold water and while gently squeezing out the excess water, stretch the garment both width and lengthwise as far as you can.
- Lay the garment flat on a towel to let it dry slowly and keep pulling it in both directions.
