The Marilyn dress has full focus on the hourglass figure. At the shoulders and under the bust, there is fine gathering in the fabric, which gives plenty of room for the bust, as well as a feminine and flattering look. The short sleeves go to mid-upper arm. Note that this dress does not have puff sleeves like some other Marilyn styles.

A wide waistband and the included belt emphasize the waist.

The Marilyn dress has an impressive full circle swing skirt. The cut is feminine and creates the classic hourglass silhouette where the waist is defined and both the waist and bosom are beautifully accentuated.

Naturally, the dress has hidden side pockets.
