We have kept the iconic pointed collar, the waist-length silhouette and the elegant half sleeves – but replaced the bold contrast buttons with smaller tone-on-tone buttons in the same shade as the yarn. The result is a more harmonious and sophisticated expression that instantly evokes the glamour of the 1930s.
We can almost imagine Carole Lombard wearing it on a date with Clark Gable.
The cardigan is knitted in lightweight wool with an airy lace-knit pattern, making it ideal for the warmer months. It can be worn buttoned up as a feminine blouse or styled open over a summer dress, top or vintage dress for a classic layered look.
