One of the best things about entering the new year is that we receive all the new items we have been looking forward to. Almost a year has passed since we placed the order, and now it is a reality. Now the new nice things are arriving, and we are slowly entering a new wonderful season. Spring is soon knocking on the door, and one of the things we have been looking forward to are the new shoes from Nordic ShoePeople .
If, like most of us, you've been walking a little more than usual, you'll probably have come to appreciate comfortable shoes even more than usual. And that's just what Nordic ShoePeople can do; shoes with comfort at the forefront without compromising on a beautiful look.
QUALITY, STYLE AND FIT
We have now had Nordic ShoePeople for quite a few years, and our love for their retro inspired shoes grows and grows. At the same time, we have had a super good collaboration with the nice people behind the brand. For those of you who are not already familiar with the brand, we can briefly tell you that they are high-quality, Danish-designed shoes, and the production takes place in a small factory in Spain.
We are always a bit skeptical/reticent when we try a new brand. Quality, style and fit must be tip top so that they match our other range in the store.
That's why we always test new products to make sure they are perfect for Mondo Kaos.
The retro-inspired shoes are good with both trousers , skirts and dresses - it's only you who sets the limit. We are absolutely sure that you will LOVE Nordic ShoePeople ! Therefore, this season we have expanded the range with three new styles.
FRIDA- A SHOES WITH A HEEL
Frida 21 is the classic lace-up shoe but with a good heel height, which makes the shoe perfect for those who want a comfortable shoe , but are not into sneakers. The shoe has a deep cutout at the front, over which the laces are tied, so the shoe is extremely feminine and stylish.
It sits beautifully around the foot, and is finely cut on the side in an arc that goes under the ankle bone, which gives the shoes a light look and makes them good also for those who normally avoid this type of shoe due to wider ankles. The thin, tight-fitting laces also give the shoe a lighter appearance than normal lace-up shoes.
Their retro look will go perfectly with your wide trousers or vintage dresses . Style it with a unique sock and it's so cool. Perfect all year round.
THE PERFECT 'TRAVEL SHOES'
When we first got Nordic ShoePeople in the store, we tried the shoes on and had no doubt that these shoes were absolutely fantastic. Firstly, their shoes are made of the softest suede or leather - this means that it is comfortable for the feet even if you have slightly wide feet, as they almost mold to your foot. In addition, the shoe is "padded", i.e. that it has a soft insole and a heel height where everyone can join. We usually call our shoes from Nordic ShoePeople - the perfect travel shoes. The alternative to sneakers and flat shoes
Both Stine and Line happily say that they have both been on city holidays and trotted up and down the street in these shoes. Especially Stine, is not a big sneakers girl - and likes to wear nice shoes even when she is on holiday. She says:

Asta is a classic t-strap shoe, with a cute heel. The shoe has a super nice design at the front with a hole pattern, so the shoes can be worn with or without a sock underneath, or with tights from Swedish Stockings on colder days. And the shoes are ideal for those who want an airy shoe without showing their toes.
The fine t-strap keeps the shoe firmly in place on the foot, and the comfort of these shoes is top notch.
The shoes go perfectly with your retro trousers, high-waisted skirts or vintage dresses , and the gold model is perfect for festive occasions and for those who want a festive everyday look with discreet retro charm.
How to style your retro shoes
It is absolutely ideal to style the beautiful shoes with some of the beautiful stockings from Swedish Stockings . For example, the fishnet stockings that Stine shows. It just gives a super delicious look.
The shoes are also beautiful with our vintage-style palazzo pants , where the lace-up shoes emphasize the Katherine Hepburn look, while the Asta shoe gives a more feminine look. They really can be used for everything, and they are also the ones that Stine and Line have trotted through big cities in, and stood up all day without problems. SNEAK-PEAK summer sandals
But it doesn't end here; we are so excited about Nordic ShoePeople that we have decided to take sandals home in red and coral, so at the end you get a little 'sneak peak'.
These are fantastic summer sandals that go perfectly with summer dresses and warm weather. They're great to wear, but also a bit sexier and super feminine than most sandals you can get your hands on, so keep an eye out for them when the warmer weather arrives...
