The dress is made from a soft and slightly sheer georgette, which gracefully drapes around the body thanks to the authentic bias cut – a classic 1930s technique where the fabric is cut on the diagonal. This gives the dress its characteristic soft drape and flattering silhouette without the use of stretch.
Cissy is inspired by The House of Foxy's popular Loretta dress, but also offers a range of wonderful details with true 1930s vibes. The beautifully layered neckline is inspired by an original vintage dress, creating an elegant, draped look, while the delicate gathers under the bust accentuate the waist in the most beautiful way. The included tie belt with a decorative Art Deco buckle in pistachio green completes the sophisticated look.

As the fabric is slightly sheer, we have determined that a matching slip is appropriate to wear this dress beautifully. This dress does not originally come with a slip.
Care: Dry clean or hand wash cold. The dress should be dried flat to maintain its beautiful bias shape.
