The beautiful Daisy dress features a soft v-neck. There is an elegant smocking effect both at the shoulders and again under the waist. The fine smock transitions into elegant pleats down the bust, allowing for space before the dress narrows again, providing optimal focus on the tailored look.
The authentic and lovely small smocks and pleats stand in beautiful contrast to the smooth front and create an authentic 1940s look.
Binding straps sewn on each side allow for waist adjustment. The fine A-line skirt again features the lovely smock, which is followed by elegant pleats and falls beautifully just below the knees.
The short sleeves have a characteristic puff. The dress closes at the back with a zipper, and a small keyhole is closed with a button at the neck.
Last but not least, the beautiful Palace Blue color adds plenty of vintage charm to this lovely dress.

Rayon crepe is a natural, lightweight and beautiful material, and we recommend that you care for the garment as they did with original 1940s clothing.
We suggest hand washing, just like they did back then. If you want to use the easier option of using a washing machine, it's very important to wash on a gentle cycle and place the garment in a laundry bag. However, we do not recommend washing in a machine as not all machines treat clothes equally well.
Avoid drying clothes in direct sunlight or in very hot places (e.g. over a radiator) as this can cause the material to expand and subsequently shrink.
If the garment has been washed too hot.
In the unlikely event of an accident, you can try the following method to get the garment back to its original size and fit. This method is not guaranteed, but may help in some cases:
- Soak the garment in cold water with a very generous amount of fabric conditioner and leave it overnight.
- Then rinse the garment in fresh cold water and while gently squeezing out the excess water, stretch the garment both width and lengthwise as far as you can.
- Lay the garment flat on a towel to let it dry slowly and keep pulling it in both directions.
