Dolores is an elegant vintage style dress that is super versatile and falls beautifully over the curves of the body.
There are gathers at the shoulders and where the bodice meets the waistband, and a flattering V-crossover neckline gives a great fit over the bust.
The waistband is wide and can be tied at the back for extra focus on the waist. The A-line skirt falls beautifully to the knees.
The dress closes at the back with a zipper and a peephole closes with a button at the neck.
The Dolores dress is in navy with fine medium-sized polka dots that give the dress a touch of extra vintage nostalgia.

Rayon crepe is a natural, lightweight and beautiful material, and we recommend that you care for the garment as they did with original 1940s clothing.
We suggest hand washing, just like they did back then. If you want to use the easier option of using a washing machine, it's very important to wash on a gentle cycle and place the garment in a laundry bag. However, we do not recommend washing in a machine as not all machines treat clothes equally well.
Avoid drying clothes in direct sunlight or in very hot places (e.g. over a radiator) as this can cause the material to expand and subsequently shrink.
If the garment has been washed too hot.
In the unlikely event of an accident, you can try the following method to get the garment back to its original size and fit. This method is not guaranteed, but may help in some cases:
- Soak the garment in cold water with a very generous amount of fabric conditioner and leave it overnight.
- Then rinse the garment in fresh cold water and while gently squeezing out the excess water, stretch the garment both width and lengthwise as far as you can.
- Lay the garment flat on a towel to let it dry slowly and keep pulling it in both directions.
