Lovely vintage style dress in eggplant from The House of Foxy.

1940s style glamour in the form of the Stanwyck dress in a deep purple color.

Inspired by Hollywood icon Barbara Stanwyck, the elegant Stanwyck dress features a wealth of original details. The high neckline, with the bow that is repeated at the curved shoulders. From the shoulders, elegant pleats are sewn in a 'sunbeam' pattern. The front has a slight gathering under the bust and is fitted.

A beautiful tie belt in a geometric design wraps flatteringly around the waist. The belt can be tied at the front as shown in the picture, but you can of course also tie it at the back for a more simple look at the front. And of course, you can leave the belt off altogether.

The dress has short sleeves in a beautiful 40s design with beautiful stitching.

The skirt is sewn in panels, which means the fabric has plenty of movement and falls beautifully around the hips and thighs.

This version is in a lovely dark purple and is perfect with all basic colors such as cream, beige, navy or black.

Closes with a zipper at the back.
