Lovely vintage style dress in aubergine from The House of Foxy.

1940's style glamour in the form of the Stanwyck dress in a deep purple color.

The elegant Stanwyck dress is inspired by Hollywood icon Barbara Stanwyck and features a wealth of original details. The high neckline, with the curve that reappears at the curved shoulders. From the shoulders, elegant pleats are sewn in a 'sunray' pattern. The front piece has slight gathering under the bust and is tailored. 

A beautiful tie belt in geometric design wraps very flatteringly around the waist. The belt can be tied at the front as shown in the picture, but you can of course also tie it at the back for a more simple look at the front. And you can of course skip the belt entirely.

The dress has short sleeves in a beautiful 40's design, with lovely stitching.

The skirt is sewn in panels, meaning that the fabric has plenty of movement, while it falls beautifully around the hips and thighs.

This version is in a lovely dark purple, and is perfect with all basic colors such as cream, beige, navy, or black.

Closes with a zipper at the back.
