Body type guide: Clothes & dresses for the X-figure at Mondo Kaos
You're naturally gifted with a female shape where your waist is narrower than your bust and hips, giving you the coveted hourglass figure.
However, not everyone makes the most of this beautiful figure and dresses in loose clothing instead of focusing on the waist. If you do this, you can end up looking square, and that's not what we want.
With this figure, it's all about showing off your beautiful waist and emphasizing your feminine shape!
Tops for the Hourglass Figure
You can wear almost any type of top, as long as it's cut and marked at the waist. You can use both deep and wide necklines.
If you have a larger bust, use a good bra that really supports and lifts your bust. This helps to emphasize your waist even more.
Avoid tops that just go straight up and down at all costs. They hide your waist and make you look square and masculine.
Pants and jeans for the Hourglass Figure
Go for high-waisted pants that go all the way up over your hips and are fitted. Both straight leg jeans & pants are great for the hourglass figure, but tight jeans, capris and cigarette pants are also great for the hourglass figure.
Avoid low-waisted pants and jeans.
Skirts for the Hourglass Figure
The hourglass figure looks great in a pencil skirt because your waist, hips and bust give your body shapes that are worth showing off.
A-line skirts are also great for you if you pair them with a tight top.
Dresses for the Hourglass Figure
The hourglass figure can wear pretty much any type of dress as long as it's cut at the waist.
Both fitted pencil dresses and dresses with a tight bodice and wide skirt are perfect for emphasizing your beautiful curves.
All the dresses we offer at Mondo Kaos are great for the X-Figure.
