Beautiful red wrap dress in authentic vintage style that is perfect all year round!

This beautiful wrap dress from The Seamstress of Bloomsbury is perfect all year round.

The cut of the dress gives room to the bust and emphasizes the waist, and the fine lapel collar frames the neck and face in the most beautiful way.

The wrap dress is cut at the waist and has short sleeves, so that it can be easily worn all year round. In winter with a warm cardigan over. The beautiful dress closes easily with the adjustable tie belt. The delicious material gives the dress a beautiful fall and a very authentic vintage look!

The material is Bloomsbury's signature fabric, a natural material that feels soft and lets the skin breathe! The dress is in a beautiful classic red.

    • Suitable for all occasions: "dress it up" with a pair of vintage pumps and red lipstick and "dress it down" with a pair of flat shoes and neutral makeup!
    • Wear it in winter with thick stockings and a cardigan over it, and in summer with bare legs and sandals.
    • It's also the perfect dress for summer beach trips, as it's easy to put on and take off and the fabric dries quickly!

Tip: When you try this you must 1. Pull one side 'fixed' across the chest when closed. 2. Tie the ribbon around the waist twice, then tie a bow at the side. As a result, the collar sits nicely and the dress does not open.

    Material

Material: 100% Rayon Crepe. No stretch!

For products made in Rayon Crepe fabric, we suggest that you care for the garment in the same way as you would for original 40s clothing.

We recommend that you hand wash the garment as it was done in the 1940s, although today you can dry clean it instead if you wish!

It's best not to dry clothes in direct sunlight or in an excessively hot place (like over a radiator) as this can cause the natural material to expand and subsequently shrink.

If you accidentally wash or dry your garment too hot, try the following method to regain the original size and fit. Although this is not guaranteed to work, it may help!

    1. Soak the garment in cold water with a very generous amount of fabric conditioner and leave it overnight.

    2. Then rinse the garment in fresh cold water and while gently squeezing out the excess water, stretch the garment both width and lengthwise as far as you can.

    3. Lay the garment flat on a towel to let it dry slowly and keep pulling it in both directions.
