The beautiful Girl Friday dress features an extremely flattering cut inspired by early 1940s fashion, where higher necklines were paired with strong shoulders and a beautifully nipped-in waist.
The short sleeves have gentle fullness and a defined shoulder shape, enhanced by gathers at the sleeve head and a discreet shoulder pad – perfectly true to the era.
The high neckline drapes softly and is finished with a delicate keyhole button fastening at the back. The skirt has a classic 1940s length, falling gracefully below the knee on most (approx. 71 cm / 28 inches from the natural waist). It is cut in seven panels for a beautiful flow, fully lined, and fastens with a side zip.
