Body type guide: Clothes & dresses for the H figure at Mondo Kaos

Your hips and shoulders are beautifully balanced, but you don't have a defined waist, so the trick is to find ways to create the illusion of hips and waist.

This is done by creating extra fullness on the hips and upper body, as well as highlighting the waist.

Swing skirts are also great, and just like the swing dress, you can wear a petticoat underneath to give extra volume to the hips.

Tops for the H-Figure

Fitted tops, preferably with puff sleeves, give the illusion of broader shoulders and thus a smaller waist.

Asymmetrical cuts, such as the neckline, break the straight lines of your figure, just as a boat neckline gives shape to your upper body.

Don't skimp on embellishments such as collars, pussybows and prints. Your topsshould have lots of detailing around the bust to make it look bigger and give you shape.

Avoid blouses that go straight up and down and do not highlight the waist. And shirts & jackets without darts.

Pants and jeans for the H-Figure

You should aim to give volume to your hips. That's why wide-leg pants are perfect for you.

Skirts for the H-Figure

A-line skirts and swing skirts with pleats are perfect for you as they give volume to your hips. It's okay to have pockets on the skirts as they add extra fullness. You can also wear a petticoat under your skirt to create extra fullness around your hips, making your waist look smaller.

Dresses for the H-Figure

Shorter dresses and skirts are always a good choice for the H-figure as they emphasize your beautiful legs.

A swing dress, preferably with puff sleeves, is also great for the H-figure. As with the swing skirt, you can wear a petticoat underneath to give extra fullness around the hips, creating the illusion of a narrower waist.

A wrap dress is your best friend, as it works for your body shape in many ways. The tie gives the illusion of a waist, and at the same time it breaks the straight lines of your body by creating lines that run diagonally across your body.
