Authentic 1940s style dress with side tie bow in light blue from Seamstress of Bloomsbury.

From an original 1940s pattern comes this wonderful vintage style dress.

The round neckline has a soft collar of a ribbon tie that can be tied at the side into a pretty bow. At the back there is a small keyhole cutout that closes with a button at the top.

The sleeves are straight and go to the middle of the upper arm, with a nice little fold.

The bodice is naturally fitted to the feminine figure and a waistband emphasizes the natural waistline. The skirt has plenty of width and falls beautifully over the hips and thighs, thanks to Seamstress of Bloomsbury's signature Crepe de Chine.

A tie at the back makes it possible to adjust the waist.

The color is the wonderful 'powder blue', a light, slightly dusty blue that perfectly suits the Scandinavian complexion.
